Web 2.0 Design

As further evidence that Web 2.0 is not just about hip programming languages or questionable business models, here’s a great summary of the Web 2.0 design aesthetic. I’d love a variant of this article that delves deeper into why things like rounded corners are so appealing (Apparently, they enable people to instantly differentiate what’s “inside” from what’s “outside”) Of course, all these trends will be considered horribly tacky in 2 years, when Web 3.0 (or Web 2.1) rolls around.
